We were strolling along the right bank of the Seine River when we spotted this salamander lurking under the Pont Alexandre III.

It was late in the afternoon and the light was bad. However, I tried my best to make this shot more dramatic to contrast against a colourless sky.

The element you eant to promote in your image, really has the preminence on the image, I think you´ve composed your picture very well, congratulations ;-)

Ah! Your picture brings a breath of Parisian air, with a view of my favorite bridge in the whole world. And, I have never even noticed the salamander. It’s lovely! I have no idea of it's the significance and I would like to know. The strong idagonal composition and the soft limited colouring work very well. The soft focus of those magnificent lanterns helps to concentrate interest in the salamander.Regards kevin
