Photographer’s Note
Effect of the soft early morning sunlight on Kanchenjunga family at Tumling. Tumling is a halt within the terk route from Manebhanjan to Sandakphu
About to start the day's trek schedule after the night stay at Tumling. The serene buty of the 3rd highest peak in the world with a God gifted clear sky in the background irritated my trigger happy finger to act.
The original shot has been digitally tuned.
Trekking detail and map of Sandakphu and labeled peaks are in the web page Sandakphu

Welcome to TE DrJ Bhunia
and you start with a fine colored pastel of a sunny morning, the mist still hanging in between the mountains while the sun colors the clouds already warm up.
A very fine shot, looking forward for more to come to share here by invitive appreciations to others.

Good evening DrJ Bhunia,
You have started on TE with a beautiful, misty, mysterious, and superb morning scene. The pink effects are eye catching and you will find the increase in smiles with the passage of time.
Your info has aroused a great interest and looking forward to such more panoramas.
Welcome on TE.

A beautiful area. I feel a little off the top and removing the spots in the dark area would help.

Hi
Nice start here!
I was twice in that area - in Gangtok and Darjeelning. I saw Kanchenjunga only for a while late evening. I guess I'd have to go there a third time to take a picture like yours.
The picture is very clear and sharp and shows something really awesome.
If this photo was mine I'd cut the top part above those amazing clouds and a little from the bottom. I think it would be a nice panorama, which can be posted here in bigger version.
Take care and have fun here!

Hello Dr. Bhunia,
First of all a warm welcome to trekearth. This is a lovely place I can tell you. And you have started well here with a lovely photo. Sandakphu is very close to my heart and so is Tumling! Who can forget Lila di's warm hospitality there!
Lovely colour you have captured, good sharpness. Hope to see more from you!

A long time ago I was there clinmbing a peak called Kirat chulli (tent peak)
a brilliant expedition ah the memories thats what is nice about trekearth.
Its a lovely shot with great colours and as I remember it.
Unfortunately I was relieved of almost all my used film (about 30 rolls of film). I'll never know how good mt photos were.
Simon
As usual I have spent all my green pills

Very nice shot, good POV. The colours are nice, but hard to believe that they are livelike.

This is a very relaxing photograph. The harmony of the colors are also very agreable. The lightning on the mountain peaks gave a deepness to the photo.TFS.
