Photographer’s Note
The end of the Kjenndalsbreen glacier. This glacier was still moving down the valley until a few years ago, now it's receding (global warming I guess).
Hopefully you can get a feel for the size of it by the people on the right. It's not recommended to stand under it as a house-sized lump of ice could land on you!

Wow! I didn't even notice the people until I read your note. This thing is huge!! The colors on the glacier are very nice. I might crop out some the foreground and increase the contrast and sharpness a bit. I did a workshop. See what you think.

très impressionnant. Je n'avais pas vu au début les personnes sur la droite, et quand je les ai vues, je me suis rendu compte de l'aspect grandiose de ce glacier. De plus, j'aime beaucoup la teinte bleutée. Bien joué!

I didn't see the people for a while, with out them the scale would be hard to determine! I like mimis WS, well captured.

Cette photo décrit bien la force et la grandeur frontale du glacier. Elle montre la grosseur des pierres transportées et la force du courant de la rivière créée par sa fonte. Très belle photo documentaire.
