Photographer’s Note

Every day I see the CN Tower from my balcony from the 13th floor from the distance of 26 kilometers. This time I decided to take a closer look and view how it looks like at its base. Here you can see almost 500 meters of the Tower, half a kilometer in other words. It doesn’t look like the tallest free-standing structure in the world for the past 30 years in a row at all, but still it is quite unique.

Excellent view on this photo ... I can't believe you captured the CN tower so very well by standing so close to this such an imposing structure. Excellent results and of course the star of this photo is that lonely cloud that seems to be playing hide and seek with you ;))
Wow .. you seem to have an excellent exposure in this photo too and the sky is sooo blue ... I can go on and on admiring this photo.

La perspective de cette prise de vue est intéressante.On se rend compte à quel point ces tours sont gigantesques et impressionnantes!J'en ai le vertige.
Excellente prise de vue avec de surcroit un beau ciel avec un gentil nuage qui ne va pas tarder à se fracasser contre cette tour gigantesque.

Hello Alana,
This is an excellent use of the 10mm lens to show us an interesting perpective of the famous CN tower. Your choice of POV is just perfect and that small cloud had the good idea to pass just in time.
You have lovely photos in your gallery, but a lot of them just have too much PP for may taste. What I like here is that this is really what I would see if I stood where you took this photo.
