Photographer’s Note
I felt so small in these huge walls of ice. For me the phenomenon glacier is one of the strangest and most amazing thing I've ever seen. It's almost unbelievable that ice can resist to the extremely hot sun in the summer...however this picture I've taken at the end of the morteratsch-glacier in the Bernina-massif near St. Moritz. Hi Olivier,
Wonderful tones of clear bluish ice, and dirtier greyish on top. Really delicate picture. And sort of reminder of changing climate. There's been a lot of melting this summer!
