Photographer’s Note
Watching fishermen come in with their catch on Atiu, an island of 600. The catch was heaps of big, healthy tuna; if you wait long enough, someone might offer you a raw tuna heart for a snack.

Hi Lisan,
This one does not quite work for me. The context is missing. It might be any hand reachign for any knife for any purpose...too general to be effective as a story-telling image. I think you needed a lower angle perspective with more in the frame, such as more of the arm, a bit of the corner of the boat and some space in front. Hope I am able to express myself here.

I like this hand looking for something ... but what ?
I would also like to have a bit more of the top
and maybe a square format with the hand on the top-right corner would be appropriate, imho.
Thanks, Alain -

I may not understand it fully but the highly unusual and yet careful graphism attracts me, Lisan. Benefit of the doubt on this one. Beautiful tones in the color too. In a way it's a Cook Island Eagleston...

Hi Lisan,
This one doesn't quite git me like your usual works...It would be great with a little more context...I like the idea of you choppping the fisherman's head off, but in this instance - I might have gained more from seeing him...
I do like the random strewn objects though...
