Denali Panoramic Photo

Photographer’s Note

Once you get off the main road of Denali, things really strike you about how far away from civilization you really are. This image was taken about a mile from the road, but already you feel alone and in the company of this amazing park.

This area is near Sable Pass on the Denali Road. I was in awe of the mountain on the left with all the different colors in its ore. Down below you see tundra and finally a river bed carved out by years of glaciation.

In the opposite direction you could see this image - I was surrounded by mountains in every direction!

This shot is a combo of three pictures stitched together in Photoshop.

Hi Brian, thank you for this shot; a wild Nature with so many different colours, well represented even under a quite flat sky, with difficult light.
