Photographer’s Note

Kamena Vourla
A quiet place some about 180 km away (north) from Athens. It's a tiny spot on the map that combines sea and mountain. A place just for holidays, no particular historical or cultural interest there, you just enjoy the view, fishing, swimming and relaxing the greek way. Through the last years the town has evolved to a great station for all travellers who stop by at Kamena Vourla on their way to northern destinations in Greece such as Thessaloniki

hello John,
a beautiful and peaceful image. The red hues are really well saturated and pretty. The sun behind the patch of clouds looks really wonderful.

Έχεις πετύχει έναν απίθανο ουρανό. Όμορφα ζεστά χρώματα και φωτισμός. Οι φιγούρες των δύο ψαράδων υπέροχες.

A wonderful and relaxing view over the water with such great colours. It's good there are clouds around the sun, gives a beautiful effect. The fishermen are a good addition as well. Good work, thanks for sharing!

I love the peaceful atmosphere added to by the silhouetted fishermen. The sky is beautiful and the reflections are particularly strong.

What a awesome sky, and very lovely sun beam reflection in water, dark part in middle together with the two fisherman in foreground care for a attractive picture.
The picture tilt a little bit to left, but not directly disturbing.

Μαύρα μάτια κάναμε να σε δούμε Γιάννη! Αλλά επέστρεψες με μια εξαιρετική φωτογραφία που άξιζε την αναμονή. Μαγική στιγμή με υπέροχα χρώματα και σύνθεση. Πολύ ωραία και η αντανάκλαση του ήλιου στο νερό. Ο ψαράς και το παιδάκι στην προβλήτα είναι όλα τα λεφτά. συγχαρητήρια!

Well composed with high impact in this large format. The silhouetted fisherman and friend are perfectly placed and I like the way the little dock juts into the frame. The reflections of course are marvellous and you have chosen well to devote such a large proportion to the sky itself. Just like a painting. Well captured. Have a good week.

Hi John. This is a placid and tranquil setting. The horizon looks a bit tilted but it's not that big of a deal. You might be able to slightly increase the contrast. tfs John.

..Εξαιρετικά τα χρώματα ουρανού και θάλασσας. Οι σιλουέτες των ψαράδων αποδίδουν κάτι το ανέμελο στη ατμόσφαιρα...Αλλα είναι σαν ολά να "συντηρούνται" από τον ήλιο που πέφτει!Μου αρέσει πολύ αυτή η φωτογραφία!Συγχαρητήρια!

Hello Ioannis! You have very nice variety to your pictures! Since I like very warm saturated colors I was drawn to this one. It is a wonderful silhouette sunset image with the fishermen positioned perfectly.
