Photographer's Note

This is my first post after the “departure” of Syd Barrett at 7 July 2006.Syd and his music and poetry is great influense for me.He was leaving quietly for 35 and over years, seing his death every day on TV and the newspapers,as a recluse in his hometown of Cambridge. He passed his time painting and tending the garden.Often he was using his bisycle going for shoping at the the nearest corner shop.
Now he is in Heaven to meet again John Lennon and Jimy
Hendrix...

Syd’s Spirit “helps” me to take this picture during my summer holidays. It’s dedicated to him.A pink bike
for the genius founder of Pink Floyd.....

Good-bye Syd, we'll never forget you.......

Flaming

Alone in the clouds all blue
Lying on an eiderdown.
Yippee! You can't see me
But I can you.
Lazing in the foggy dew
Sitting on a unicorn.
No fair, you can't hear me
But I can you.
Watching buttercups cup the light
Sleeping on a dandelion.
Too much, I won't touch you
But then I might.
Screaming through the starlit sky
Travelling by telephone.
Hey ho, here we go
Ever so high.
Alone in the clouds all blue
Lying on an eiderdown.
Yippee! You can't see me
But I can you.
