Silvio,
I posted a note about your other shot (presumably) of the same tree. There was a French Artist named Jules Dupré (1811-1870), who was a preimpressionists. In 1840 he painted a huge oak, which my family purchased when I was a young boy, and we lived in Paris. In the next 30 years, he painted the same tree(s) again, and the 1870 version he painted hangs in the National Gallery in Washington, DC. The mood is different, and on display is his evolution. Van Gogh, writing to his brother Théo, described Jules Dupré's works as "...a symphony of colors." I like very much the idea of capturing the same sites in different seasons, different light conditions, different atmospheres. Well done. The rays of light and the burst in the middle where the sun is at are amazing. Nice colours and light. Good compo by having these bundles off light off center and the oak slightly centered. The silhouette of it is great.

You have excellent light here with great shadows. The fence and the wheels add a special countryside atmosphere to the photo.

Mi ero abituata a vedere tua quercia sotto differenti angolazioni, ma non avevo aggiunto mia critica! Dove essere un monumento di Umbria, e vedendo suo successo su TE, penso che molta gente vengono a visitarlo!
Questa foto (fatta nella mattina?) è magnifica.
Hai catturato benissimo il sol levante e la natura nella nebbia mattutina. Potrebbe essere una immagine di un romanzo fantastico como "The Hobbit".

Il tutto, viene avvalorato dalla vista della rete di recinsione sulla sinistra e dalle due ruote poggiatevi lateralmente.

Greetings Silvio,
I've seen this image before and Roberto pointed me to it again. It's definitely one of your best, in my opinion. It almost wants to have a nighttime, creepy feel to it. But then there is the blue sky, green grass, and the sun streaming through the branches, turning what could have been a lonely, brooding photo into a mysterious, playful, even hopeful one.
Lovely composition, and interesting choice not to show the entire tree.
Magnificent!
