Hi Josep!
You have a nice view at a mixture of old and modern architecture,and your image is of perfect quality.I like the brown tone in tone colors(hope you understand what I mean)and the blue tower is something we have to get used to in modern cities.I´ve seen some other photos ( at TE)of it`s interesting architecture and night color, and here the tower works verry well for your composition.

Hola Josep, ¡menuda colección (W) y menuda vista! Ok, no tienes montañas, pero si la vista puede ser normal para una ciudad, la foto es muy bella, está muy bien iluminada y encuentra un buen argumento para su defensa en la torre tan bien iluminada. Me gustan muchos los colores, su contraste e intensidad, y la gradación de la luz. Muy buena. Hasta pronto.

Hola Josep - I like this view from your apartment, a view of one of my favourite cities (but you knew that anyway!). The skyline here is an interesting mix of old & new architecture.

The workshops - I think you should post a shot of your cabinet (as a main contribution) because it's an important part of your life & in my opinion it would be a valid & interesting post. So many different cameras that would be of interest to many of us here on TE :)

Interesante captura desde tu casa. Yo tambien vivo en el Eixample y mi casa tampoco tiene grandes vistas, pero tengo la suerte que estar orientado al Tibidabo (algo es algo). Esta famosa torre Agbar está dando muchos problemas a los vecinos más próximos de la zona. Te explico mi compañía se dedida a la fabricación de sistemas LEDs para industriales y sobre la torre Agbar pesan varias denuncias por CONTAMINACIÓN LUMINICA, por ese motivo no siempre está encendida como prometieron.
Pero a lo que vamos... la foto me gusta porque contrasta muy bien la modernidad de la torre con el estilo tipico barcelones. Me gusta la verdad es esa.
Por cierto viviendo en el Eixample seguro que alguna vez nos hemos cruzado por la calle sin darnos cuenta, yo tambien vivo en el Eixample Esquerra.
Tal vez un día podamos quedar para tomar un cafe o una cervecita.

Hermosa vista y hermosa foto nocturna, el cielo nublado, la torre iluminada y la luz suave de los edificios del primer plano crean una imagen muy atractiva.

Y también es cierto Josep, Barcelona es una ciudad realmente encantadora.

Me ha gustado mucho este tema y espero sumarme en unas semanas, cuando ya esté con un apartamento definitivo en Sao Paulo.

I'm impressed with this post that allow us to know you better and the place where you live. This is a fantastic view very well captured and the contrast with the well known tower, that shines at night in many colors, make a great visual impact here. The contrast with the monochromatic image is really nice and the lighting excellent. And the better surprise comes in WS, with your impressive collection. I really loved it!

I love the golden glow of this shot Josep. You have exposed it to perfection. Love too the blue glow of the building which looks like a massive lava lamp on the skyline. A technically superb shot.

Muy bonita vista de Barcelona de noche. Me gustan los colores de la torre que contrasten muy bien con los edificios alrededor. Tiene mas exito que la nuevas cajas de chocolate que hizo Jean Nouvel para Nestlé.
Estuvimos en Barcelona un fin de semana hace 2 semanas pero como fue una corta visita de familia y hacia tanto calor, no hicimos fotos.

Excellent contribution to Didi's theme. It must be nice to enjoy such a view from your window, especially at night. Of course the AGBAR Tower catches the eye straight away and it must be relaxing watching the colours change after a tiring day.
The shot of your cameras and note about your Father's camera struck a chord, as I still have my Dad's favourite camera, a Zeiss Ikon, although from the early 1950s is not as old as your oldest.

This is great view from your windows. Especially I like the lights. Blue tower is beautiful but I’m impressed lights especially at right-bottom that it’s coming from street. As you did every time masterly. But I’m more happy. Because you are living in Barcelona, the city of my favorite team! Great. As you know Rijkaard is our townsman.

I had a look to your workshop photos and impressed your photo machines collection. I was playing and shooting my father’s Russian Lubitel 2 when I was child. This is a good heritage from our fathers. I’m very happy with it every time. Congratulations,

Y sí, creo que como nocturna la foto tiene muchos enteros: la exposición y la ciudad, su ambiente quiero decir, son los puntos fuertes de la ciudad.
Pero déjame hacer una pregunta: ¿por qué el cielo de Barcelona es cada día más naranja por la noche?

Esta foto me parece sublime ,mucho feedback no podras conseguir porque yo la veo inmejorable . A veces esas fotos nocturnas tienen algo de alquimismo , de distribucion de las dosis necesarias de luz , dibujandola y repartiendola por el espacio fotografiable . Aqui esa dosis esta perfectamente repartida , el cielo desprende ese halo rojizo tan recomendable para las fotos nocturnas , incluso los claroscuros y los detalles de los edificios son muy muy nitidos. Una verdadera joya . Como estas Josep? . Por aqui todo bien , yo liado con los examenes de esta oposicion infinita , no me preguntes como la llevo porque ya no lo se . Espero que estes bien . Sigo descubriendo los misterios arquitectonicos de Barcelona con tus capitulos (Nunca visite les Punxes ni otras casas emblematicas .Barcelona es una ciudad artisticamente eterna ) . Me gusta esta toma por muhas razones. Primeramente, la foto es muy bonita. La vista de tu piso es magnifica y lo has capturado muy bien. Se puede ver la diferencia de los edificios. Y el torre Agbar, pues creo que no hay nada como este edificio. Tambien me gustan los workshops que nos muestras. Nos dan un idea de la vida diara en tu ciudad.

Oh, that's what we couldn't enjoy and I really regret: Barcelona, the big city at night! (We stayed in Tarrega, 2h driving from Barcelona.) You have a wonderful view from your window. Without the Agbar Tower it would be an everyday urban landscape, but with the Tower it's dynamic and various.
The photo is a masterpiece itself, the light management is perfect!

he vist avui aquesta foto... la veritat és que em sembla que som veïns perquè tenim les mateixes vistes de la torre... casualitat!
