Awesome work Doug!
Looking at this shot- I am amazed that someone could give you a 1 pointer vs. a 2. Perfect exposure, incredible reflections and clarity. REALISTIC colors (and I emphasize REALISTIC), and great composition.
Very well done!

Hi Doug,
What a wonderful image!!! Looks like a painting. Happy that you didn't saturate it more - love those soft colours. Really well composed. Such nice reflections - what a view!!!

Hi Doug
A very beautiful scene;very delicate and soft colours. I did a WS just to try and see what another contrast and saturisation would do. But the picture is realy beautiful.

Hello Doug,
Love the glassy effect! I think Jasper is amongst the most beautiful places in N.America. This is an excellent shot and I like the dynamic lighting on the stones in the foreground. The only "flaw", if that is the right word, is the slight tilt of the line of reflection. Colour saturation is perfect too, not too much not too less, giving this picture a 'natural' beauty.
Best regards,
Cheuk Hin

Ecxellent balance between fg and bg. The colors are simply stunning and the reflections awsome. You're right it looks almost like glass work.
It amazes me that you got the reflections even using a polarized filter. What was the purpose to use it anyway?

Wow!!
Amazing image. The way you have used the polariser to break through the reflection, but not destroy it is terrific. The rocks and shrubbery in the foreground holds things togetheras well and is much more effective than a simple mirror image.
Great work.

This is a really great shot, Doug.
Its got a very bright and airey feel to it that I like. The composition is excellent; including those rocks in the foreground has given the image a great sense of depth. What really makes this special is that wonderful reflection in the still water of the lake.
Stunning.
Cheers,
Ben

I could tell from the thumbnail this was going to be special and I am not disappointed. Most of it has been said already but what first struck me was the reflection of course, particularly the clarity of the lines of the rock formations. You don't give us the exposure details but from the excellent focus front to back it must have been a small aperture. This is the quality of landscape you get if you are able to use a tripod. Excellent work; it's in my favourites.

Hey Doug.
Wow.
Not to overdo it, but this photo is amazing. The beautiful jewel toned colors come through with such force out of the more grey foreground and background. I also like the great texture of the foreground rocks and the mountains.
Really very beautiful,
Chris

Hi Doug,
Daniel.

You guys have some trully magical landscapes in Canada and you're certainly doing them justice. I love how there are mainly shades of green and blue in this. Colors are very pleasing to the eye. It's hard to believe those pebbles are so perfectly arranged. Great composition and depth of field and you captured the glassy surface of the water very well, the way you can see the reflections and yet you can see through the water as well. I like the softness too, glad you didn't oversaturate anything.

Hi Doug,
A good POV of lake Edith, of the forest, of the Rocky mountains and their reflection in the water which is an asset to the photo. It has a good composition, DOF and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.

indeed it looks like a glass. A marvelou scapture of this stand still nature. Colors are bright and I can imagine the size of the landscape based on the distance tree size.
Good POV
