Photographer’s Note
I took the picture during a wonderful (except for my sweet bottom :o) Horse Riding day in Songpan city region, between Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou natural park. It was still quite early in the morning when we had our first rest at the top of a hill dominating the city. This little Huizu boy (a muslim minority of China) run at us from a small village. He asked me to take a picture of him, what I was happy to hear, especially as the horse was standing behind him (and riding horse is a tradition for the Huizu!). Unfortunately, I hadn't paid much attention to the horse pee. Anyway, it was its right as we were ALL having a break and this brave animal had honestly done the most difficult part of the trip :o) Tibo

Hi Thibaut,
Excellent composition, nice saturated colours. Never mind the pee, its as natural as the horse itself:)

this is striking and has a super saturated feel to it.. what did you do..
some de-sat would lighten it up and get rid of the red/green..irish queen effect..
its good and has a slightly naive posture to it reminiscent of the national geographic magazine photographs..
cheers

i love the pose the horse has. it seems as if it knows it is having its photo taken, and is looking out over the path its has just conquered.

beautiful shot. the little boy really posed well for your pic. colours are very vivid. the fog in the background creats an environment full of misty. tfs.
best wishes,
arjun
