Photographer’s Note

Last Friday (August 11, 2006), the college where I worked held a pizza party for the first year medical students catered by the American Flatbread Pizza company. These guys built a wood fired oven right on site and cooked the pizzas in it. They were delicious! You can read more about their wood fired pizza ovens and how they build it.

The idea was good, but the final work could be better. I think that a closer crop on the oven door and the wood on the right would be enough, I mean, without anything you got in the background, clothes, buildings, cars... And, of course, with more exposure to show the pizzas baking inside the oven and the woods in fire.

Have a nice time with your D50 (I red your introduction...where is it?). I bought one last year and enjoyed it a lot.
