Photographer’s Note
Parus caeruleus. 10-12 cm and a weight of just 11 gram. Very active and agile and forever moving around, which makes it hard to get a decent photo of them. Found in the same old Japanese cherry tree where I found the other one I posted. In all likelihood this is either the same bird or its companion. I've seen these two birds on several occasions, always in or near these Japanese cherry trees, and I'm hoping they might decide to nest there, so I might get a chance of following their family a bit further.
Treatment: Crop, cloned out a few branches top right, Contrast +10, saturation +10, USM and resize.

This is a wonderful bird image, Bente. I enjoy the clarity of the colors, and the inclusion of the branches is so nice, too.

Sweet little fellow you captured here Bente. Colours are spot on and you did a very clever handling of exposure - lot of details in the white which is difficult to handle in bright sunlight. Well done.

Very good capture. I tried to photograph them myself before, but these birds practically never sit still. Before you can get your focus right, they are already gone. Congratulations!

Very nice shot, Bente. Very sharp and with good DOF. The colors is also very good. I guess that this was not very easy to take this shot with 300mm lend. Good job.
I see you also like to take a birds photo :-)

I don't know why this feels like the perfect spring picture, because these little birds are fortunately with us all year round, and sometimes the only colours we have in winter. Maybe because of the blue spring sky or the budding branch or the way his feathers look like spring clothing. Anyway, tillykke, tak og fortsat godt foraar, Bente.
