Hi Benjamin,
A nice view of this desolate landscape, I like the people on horse in silohuette with the reflections in the water. I also like the composition with the diffferent layers of the landscape giving the different tones of black and white.

beautiful work using shadows and B&W. If these people were a little more up in the landcape would be perfect but you is a lucky guy yet after to get this shot

Hola Bejamin,
Nos muestras una imagen sencilla, pero a la vez llena de fuerza, me gusta el contraste de las personas montando a caballo con respecto al resto de la escena, gran trabajo!

Hello Benjamin,
The atmosphere of this photo is great! I like the composotion, placing the horses and riders in the lower third, and allowing the rest of the photo to convey the vast space and landscape of Mongolia. The reflections in the water are beautiful and the B/W is a perfect choice.

Hi Benjamin
There aren't many images coming out of this wonderful country and thanks for showing us this superb image. Perfect choice for B&W. Love the rows of horsemen and their nice blurry reflections in the water.
Well Done!

This is a nice image with a great composition, even capturing the reflections of the horses' legs. A bit noisy in the sky and background but otherwise really great scene!

That's a pleasant row of horses and men, well seen Ben counterlighted and their reflections towards this wide lanscape over differant layers, the water and the fading mountains in the mist. Excellent capture.

This is almost pefect Ben. The compo is great. You balanced it so wele both vertically and horizontally. Just the tight amount of room for the sky, mountains, water and the forground witht he riders and their shadows. The riders are well spaced out as well and the water is a very nice light background that makes the silhouettes very easily visible. Good b/w converson. I said almost perfect because the horizon is a bit tilted.

Hi Ben,
This one turned out nicely in B&W (save it preciously it's a very rare comment from me !), the succeeding silhouettes are well detached over the water and bring some life in this empty landscape, there's a very remote feeling in the view.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hi ben, and excellent choice of B&W. Such a simple composition, the varying layers of the landscape and their varying tones of black and white, are nicely puncutauted by the silhouetted riders.

Hi Ben - this is remarkable, the still and agitated waters, separated by a sandbar with attractive silhouetted figures makes an excellent compo, though I think I would have preferred it in colour, unless it was under an overcast light conditions.

Your pictures from Mongolia are amazing. When I went to the Lake Baikal I met several travellers coming from Mongolia on their way back to Europe and it was really interesting to hear about this country. I also liked the shots taken at the Naadam with the horses (I believe really difficult to shoot) and riders. As for this one I think that the black & white fits really well and one can imagine the size of the country with these "small" people and horses shown there. Maybe a simple panorama of only the horses and people with the reflection in the lake would also be a nice variation.

Impressive! Beautiful simple composition expresses the loneliness of the place. B/W medium suits it well. Good textures, but a bit grainy. Thanks for showing a part of the world we don't often get to see.
