It's a very nice scene and you captured it well. The small church in front those huge rocks makes a very good composition. It almost gives a 3D effect. Well done.

Hi Guenther,
This one is very nice, I prefer it to the previous one, the wider framing shows the nice surroundings in addition to the Papagolfade and the peaks are well detached over the nice blue sky.
Despite similar colors the church structures manage to stand out, and colors are rich, I like this strong field green but... where are the cows hidden Guenther ?

Hi Guenther,
Your image of this church set as it is in stunning scenery is perfect and dramatic in the great contrast between the stark mountains and gentle foreground...I also like the great clarity and sharpness. I spent a great part of this summer visiting the wooden churches around the Tatry mountains, so this image reminds me of that.

Bonjour Guenther,

Une très jolie image. De belles couleurs et un beau sujet. La profondeur de champ est vraiment pile-poil, avec un arrière plan assez net sans que cela n'empêche cette belle église de se détacher du fond.

Eine sehr schöne Postkarte aus den Bergen, Günther - die Kirche vor dem Bergmassiv gibt ein überaus idyllisches Motiv ab, und mir gefällt wie der weite Winkel auch die Integration der Bäume auf beiden Seiten erlaubt. Tolles Herbstlicht und wunderbare Farben, well done.

ayer se me pasó esta (no tuve casi tiempo más que para colgar una foto). Bellísimo lugar y bellísima la imagen que nos ofreces de él. Me gusta mucho el ambiente de la montaña, bien definido, pero como si pudiésemos sentir el aire que hay entre ella y nosotros. Buena perspectiva "atmosférica". La iglesia está muy bien colocada ahí, produce un bello contraste y unas buenas sombras, junto con los árboles que la rodean. Preciosa foto, Guenther. Un abrazo,

Even from the thumbnail I could see the quality of this image. The side lighting puts the shadows in a perfect place to show all the details, and despite being in front of the grey rocks the church stands out well - almost 3D. A beautiful and successful image.

this is a nice postcard! Did you ask yourself to keep this street in the foreground or you really liked it that way? Me, it is the kind of thing that I could have spent half an hour deciding what is best. I guess it means that both is good, don't you think? ...Of course that compo is well balanced and the colors very nice!!:D

Fantastic composition on this shot. There really isn't much to criticize here. I like the fact that you included the small road in front of the church along with the wooden fence. I don't know if it's possible but adding a bit of contrast to the background area could improve it because the mountains look just a bit hazy.

A beautiful church in dramatic surroundings!
The rugged summits make a great background for the architecture, and the light falls so nicely on the structure making it really stand out...
A well composed presentation with sharp details, I might have considered to crop the road in the bottom though..!
