This woman and child, with their supply of nicely ripe bananas hanging from the branch of a roadside tree, look on as we photograph them through the open window of our passing car. They probably know even less about us than we do about them, but our lives intersect for a few moments, as we wonder about each other and then move on.

This picture gives a real good grip about daily life. You say you took this photo from your vehicle? Did you fall of the truck and took a picture, because it looks like you took this photo from ground level. Not that it matters, because it makes the composition exccellent. Very good colors as well. Thanks for sharing.

ta photo peut très bien avoir été prise de la voiture,il suffit que la route soit plus bas que la scène,et c'est évident,puisque les villages sont souvent au dessus des routes...sinon ils seraient innondés par les eaux de pluies.
Je dis ça car je n'aime pas qu'on doute de la l'authenticité d'une photo comme le fait "andeweg".
Les "tricheurs" sont plutôt à rechercher du côté des pros de photoshop et qui voudraient nous faire croire à bien des choses...

Very nice capture from a part of the world not many people see. It is really too bad that you were not able to get out of the car and talk to the folks for awhile.
