Photographer’s Note

This photo was take in a beach call " Pedra do Ouro ". This beach is locate 3 km soul of São Pedro de Moel. I take this photo from the top of rock, 40 metres.

I like walk in the desert beach, near the sea, like my friend telmo say :"to wash the soul".

All the way from up here I can feel how all his tensions and worries are washed away! Very fine shot Rafael, the lonely man in this beautiful enviroment. Fine diagonal composition and a fine repetition in the rolling sea.

Lucky you, to have weather already, where you can walk on beaches. Don't tell me that you set the timer and ran and that it is yourself in the shot?
I really like the angle and those very wide waves. Nice with a seascape without sky.

Comme quoi l'homme est reelement petit. Bonne image qui donne un bel effet avec ces demis teinte de brun et de bleu ou le mariage en plus est superbe. Le ressac des vagues donne un parfait fini bravo Rafael

Um muito grande mar e uma pequena pessoa. Como si nós fóssemos nada contra a natureza. Lindas cores. É como uma praia deserta, só mostrando a aréia e o mar. Muito boa.

This is a great photograph. I really like the angle that you used. The 1/3 rule is well respected. The lines with the waves and the direction of the person walking are very interesting. Good tittle also.

Fantastic shot! Impressive waves but the most impressive is when you look the man and you realize the size of the whole thing.

O efeito está muito porreiro! O mar parece pequenino mas depois de comparado com a pessoa então ai temos uma noção da realidade e da altura a que te encontravas! Boa foto!

Very good ! The man, the land and the sea...what a combination. The man certainly added the concept of enormous scale of the sea and the land. They all seem to be harmony with each other.

I've seen this shot on your website before, Rafa, and I'm glad you're putting it up on TE. It is such a soothing seaside scene, perfectly composed (as pointed out in virtually all the previous critiques). So instead of trying to find an alternate wording for what everybody else wrote, I'll just say congratulations, I think it's perfect (and a favorite).

Encore une superbe photo. La personne qui marche nous fait comprendre à quel point nous sommes petits face à l'univers (photo prise à 40 mètres, alors prise à 500 m, c'est un grain de sable).
Cela dit, j'aime beaucoup cette composition pleine de poésie (outre les prouesses techniques).

Still a superb photograph. The person who walks makes us include/understand at which point we are small vis-a-vis with the universe (photo catch with 40 meters, then taken to 500 m, it is a sand grain). However, I like much this composition full with poetry (in addition to the technical prowesses). Large Raphaël! Thank you.

Wow, rafael, I can wash my soul just by viewing this amazing photo. Excellent and for sure one of your best.
Thwe large area of this beautiful ocean with thw white foam of the waves, together with the clean sand, and with the walker in a perfect position make this shot really great.
