Photographer’s Note
This is the entrance to San Pedro de Atacama a lovely small village on the northern end of Chile. The atacama desert is one of the driest places, but when we were there they had the worst rains in 67 years. From here you can visit the Valle de la Luna (valley of the moon), the geysers at El Tatio and the laguna Chaxa a salt lake where there are plenty of Flamingos.

Hi Wanda
Very impressive place and shot. The black & white effect gives the right idea of what kind of village is this one.
Really a high quality shot!

Hi Wanda,
I hope this is not the only photo you will post from San Pedro or from Chile.
The photo is ok, has good perspective, but the note is maybe incorrect. This is the bazaar of the town, right?

Hi wanda,
This photo has a great feeling of depth, and the choise of B&W works very well here IMO.
Good shot,
Doron.
