Photographer’s Note
Horseshoe Bend is the nickname for a portion of the Colorado River located near the town of Page, Arozona, slightly downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell(appr. 4 miles south of Page).
Accessible via a 3/4 mile hike from US 89,it is a horseshoe-shaped curve in the river, viewable from the steep cliff above.
Since I don't have a lens wider than 35mm I had to take 3 vertical pictures for this panoramic view. The best time of day, when the sun is on the complete curve of the river, is between 12 noon and 2pm.

Hi Robert,
This place is gigantic!
I like the mix of red and green colors.
The DOF is also excellent.
Well done!

Hello Robert! Nice job stitching those frames together. When I first saw this I figured you had used an ultra-wide lens. I was here about a couple years ago and I think you needed about a 15mm to get it in one shot. Very expansive landscape.

Doug

Bonjour, Robert. Fantastique travail d'érosion que tu as réussi à bien montrer.

Hallo Robert!
This is an amazing or better a breathtaking view! I like that you left away the sky, because it would disturb this terrific scenery. Thank you for showing this!
Greetings from Germany!

Hello Robert,
What a superb photograph and what a magic place! The colors are very beautiful. Excellent pov and framings.
A quite clear image which shows the erosion of these rocks .
The boat shows the size of the site!
Wonderful

The rocky color with the color of the green water is great. What is it that is going in the river? Is it ferries?

Hi Robert! You're right, you were there at the right time. I was also there a few days ago but it was already around 4pm, and I was having difficulties shooting against the sun, plus the shadows covered some portions of the bend. I'll post mine later, but it's not as good as yours :) Very good stitching here, sharpness and colors are excellently done! rgds.

Bonjour Robert

Bonjour Robert
A breathtaking scenery superbly captured & stitched. Incredible colours and the contrast of the deep blue water with the rocks/soil. Those boats on the river...are they sight seeing boats?...even their trail on the water with the white adds to the compo. Quite incredible!

Bonjour Robert

Hi Robert,
Beautiful panoramic view of this natural wonders. The colors are amazing and the details awesome. I love the streak of white left by the powerboats in the vibrant green water.

Bonjour Robert!
Bravo!
Amicalement
Denis!
