A heavy dew certainly shows off the patterns on this spider web. The photo was actually taken at the "Spider Bay Marina" at Little Current, on Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada

Wow... excelent picture!. Looks like a pearl necklace. Very nice focus. The water drops have an intresting blue color. My girlfriend took a picture very similar to yours. You can see it here

What a fantastic shot! And great point of view. This one really catches the eye. The background is interesting too, but it is the foreground web that really impresses. Very very nice!

HI Marc, you've really captured the natural beauty of such a unique phenomena really well. The background and DOF really add to this shot, and works much better than say a plain background, or perhaps just a brush of green that is often the case when photographing a dew-lined spider's web.

A smart thinking: using water for clarity of the dew, maybe it would be more efficient on another angle, and maybe there would be something that is more interesting in the shore at the center of dew,

Marc: DOF just soft enough to really pull out the detail of your main subject. great image for that alone. regards, c
