Photographer’s Note

On the way to Thingvellir we first heard this river while driving. We came around a corner and the magnificent falls just appeared, just like it has been for ages past.

Hello Michael,

I like the twist of this river also gives this river very nice perspective and depth, the small waterfall care for a breaking in this image but very well, nice composition too!

I like this wild landscape with the different hues of colour( pink and blue) in the sky. Good depth and perspective.

This is a perfect view for that minimalist Iceland landscape. It says a lot about the natural beauty found in rock formations as in the foreground right, the color tones in the grass/shub ground cover, and the lush water fall. The sky colors add depth and balance.

A beauty!
