Rew the mood in this compo is very solemn, almost religious. I like how you placed the angel on the right side leaving the tree blurred by fog on the left. Very nice perspective of this angel. Not often I get to see this type of cemetery architecture. Nice work.

solemn, near-gothic, yet your title says it all. i agree with the former comments about positioning and dof. looking at this shot evokes such a response that i need to take a moment of silence myself. well done

I like this a great deal. I love the way that the fog has subdued the colours. The positioning of the angel is very good. I like the way that she is looking down into the picture.

This photo has the look! and very suit to your titile. I really love the idea of Angel's (with wing), IT'S GREAT!

For this type of photo, I would try to crop it a bit thighter to emphasized on the mood. Perhaps, a clear view of the face details would also give more weight to this photo. Overall, it's beautiful.

This is a good picture. I like to picture cemeteries and this is a nice view, that conveys well a sad mood. Maybe the pic could benefit from a bit of cropping and a bit more shadows. But I don't like to alter the pictures too much. This is good as it is. Black and white would also be interesting...

hi Rew, I haven't chosen this photo by accident-i guess "the" mood is creeping into me today - by "the' mood i mean this both calm and nostalgic atmpshere that i can see also in this photograph.i like cementaries for the silence that welcomes yo there. the fog you're writing about not only helped to mute the noise but also to create a great soft background for the statue, and this is also an element i like about the photograph.
