Photographers Note
Those who have visited China in recent times would agree. Places which are on highlight lists are extremely crowded with unnumerable groups, mostly Chinese. These groups are very loud, and it is quite difficult to get concentration.. I am referring to the place depicted in this picture which normally deserves calm, and concentration and even some meditation. Could you imagine that just a few centimeters below there is quite a traffic of visitors zigzaging loudly the courtyard of this magnificent temple at Shanghai: The Jade Buddha Temple. Perhaps I should not have mentioned this fact and let viewers transport their imagination to ancient times.

I really love the composition: it reminds me of traditional Chinese painting style but there's also a slightly abstract feel to it.

Her yönüyle süper.

Hi Master,I'm totally agree with about behaving in such kind of places. We have the same in Topkapı Palace.
The photo here is perfect in framing. The branch of the tree makes the composition alive.
Many thanks,
Sarhan.

Hi Izzet. A beautiful still life from your China trip, a very elegant and simple "Asian" approach with the framing and content. Nice how the pagoda roof and the branches are utilized as foreground aspects versus the dragon image in the back. Greetings from Austria.

Keribar,
Well seen & worth composition!...
Detail is amazing...
Though I have been to Jade buddha temple earlier, I was not able to enjoy a leisurely stroll...Was pushed by bustling crowd...
But this is very nostalgic for me..
Cheers,
Prem.

Hi Izzet,
Nice compo. I like the tree branch and the part it plays in the photo, adding some life, yet not oscuring the painting in the back.

Değerli hocam merhaba,
öncelikle sanal ortamda istifade ettiğimiz öğretmenliğiniz için teşekkürler. Bu kompozisyonda herşeyden öte sağ tarafa dahil ettiğiniz kırmızı sütun parçasının olumlu etkisini beğendim. Saygılarımla..

Excellent cropping to have this spirit of China. That's very well composed. And the realization (especially light and sharpness) is perfect.
