Photographer’s Note

A little island on Lake Arrowhead in Georgia, Vermont. I took three hours this afternoon to drive around and snap some foliage scenery.

I love the low contrast in this.
The coloured reflections are gorgeous.
I also like the strong blue in the sky.

Hello Harjit,
You have captured beautiful colors, both on the trees and in the water. :-) I like the composition, with a second row of trees and bushes behind the first. Here in NYC the leaves haven't changed colors yet, so thanks for sharing your Vermont view. :-)

Greetings Harjit.
Very nice classic shot of the stunning fall colors. Great reflections and saturation of the colors. The framing of the shot was done very well, and the tow dead trees add a nice contrast the life in the rest of the photo...maybe the dead limbs point to the starkness of winter soon to come.

This is my favorite of your fall foliage shots. I like the two dead/leafless trees on the left, especially how they are leaning over. I also like how the clouds add more texture than a plain blue sky.

The colors and reflections are great. The bare trees in the left of the photo adds nice contrast the brightly colored trees in the rest of the photo. Good DOF and intensity.
