Rush hour in Belize Photo

Photographer’s Note

If you like scuba diving, Belize should be your destination at least one time in your life, specially if you are american neighbour, just because it is easy. Belize is a nice country, still virgin of massive tourism in 1997 and, I believe, not too much crowd even today.
This picture was taken is a nice night dive in Ambergris, where the sealife is abundant and I had one of the best night dives of my life in the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. The fishes are not swiming. They are just resting at night, and they keep all together to protect themselves, creating a big structure to fool their predators radars. I will scan some other pictures from Belize to post here in the future.

Fantástico.
Não sou mergulhador nem fotógrafo subaquático, por isso não estou dentro do assunto. Será normal esse peixe ir num sentido contrário aos outros?

This shot is well taken in such difficult conditions. The colours are excellent and it's well exposed. Funny that fish going in a different direction.

José Augusto...atractiva foto y excelente título.
Parecen suspendidos en el aire/agua. Los c9lores y detalles increibles - fue escaneada de una copia papel ? Wow si es así el resultado, por las dificultades intrínsicas, es aún más meritorio.

Agora ta na sua vez de fazer inveja, Zeca. Da boa, e claro. Tem um unico peixe que esta saindo da linha, bem encima, no meio. Este e policia ou malandro. Estupenda composicao. Parece que ficaram esperando voce para tirar aquele fotao.

Nice shot, Jose. Everyone going Zig, one is going Zag (maybe wanted to show his good side). I never had a camera under water, but seen similar in Hawaii. So amazing, I almost forgot to come up for air! They gave us stuff to feed them and they would eat right out of your hand!

Muito bonita esta sua foto dos peixinhos "todos menos um"...este que está contrariado, meio cansado de ir sempre na mesma direção provou que pode dar meia volta, não é? rs...gostei da explicação para o F, é isso mesmo, a natureza é o máximo!

Hi Zeca,
I can't imagine what it would be like to scuba dive during the day let alone at night. Your fish are beautifully coloured. Lucky they are not Piranha's as that rogue one up top has its eye on you (no, I think Piranha's are fresh water aren't they?). Lovely photo of some very peaceful fish, well caught (no, not for eating), lovely and sharp. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful underwater shot.
Great colours, I like the different tones, yellow with blue fishes, but also just 'plain' blue ones. Good framing and exposure.
Nice to have all the fishes aligned in one way..well maybe except for one black sheep errr colourful fish I meant.
