Another shot from hardwar. I actually tried to capture the woman but that little boy followed me and posed in front my camera. I like his smile and the overall activities by the side of the Ganga. Hope u like it.
About Hardwar:
Hardwar is a well known holy place in Indian History. It is considered one of the seven holy places of the Hindus. It is world widely known for Kumbhmela which took place in every 12 years. Situated 214 km northeast of Delhi, 42 km away from Dehradun district it is well connected with roads and railways.
Hardwar /Haridwar means the Lord Vishnus(Hari) Ghat. The main attraction of the city is Har-Ki-Pauri Ghat. The meaning of Har-Ki-Pauri the stairs of heven. The ghat is located on a canal diverted from the main Ganga that flows a km further. It is a scared ghat to Hindus and hundreds of people take bath every day to wash out their sins into the holy water of Maa Ganga. It is one of the favourite place of all Hindu devotees.

I like here the lovely light that enhances the warm tones, your framing is a bit tight, especially on the right side, but comprehensive to get all the elements esential to this view.

Indeed your title is right seeing all the colorful dresses of the women aside, the boy posing like they typical always like to do the children herell taken in perspective Partha, lots to see, even the sadhu.

Hi Partha - your pretty compo of this daily life scene demonstrates once again that India is "an assault on the senses"; IMO in addition to the colorful scene on right, the key here is the saddhu cleverly included on the left, filling and balancing the frame... Cheers, Daniel
