Photographer’s Note
Foliage looking South through Crawford Notch in NH. This shot was taken at the stop on the North side of Crawford Notch State Park on Rt 302, just across from the Flume and Silver Cascade. We were still seeing a lot of green on the Northern slopes, but then turned South and saw all of the leaves have changed to oranges and reds.
Photo taken mid-morning on a clear day with very little humidity. Adjusted levels slightly, and bumped up the saturation by 5 points to make the colors pop a bit more like we remembered them.

It's a beautiful Autumn landscape, Thomas. The compo is nice; using the V of the valley balances it very well, but at the same time makes it very centrique, which is sometimes a little dull.
I think that its major weakness is the darkness of the land and woods; I wonder if you couldn't give a little bit more exposure to the darker areas without loosing that beautiful blue on the sky.
I am surprised that nobody noticed it before.
