In each monastery of Ethiopia, there is a set of keys. We are told that each set of keys is very old and was originally brought from Jerusalem. Here, a novice who had shown us a round display the keys

Ok, this is cool. You'v really used DOF well here to allow me to still examine the novice while focus on the keys. In fact, you force me to interpret the novice through his key-holding. I am anything but a portrait photographer, but in my humble opinion this image is powerful. Well done and thanks!

what a great point of view and excellent pic. You could have even zoomed a bit more on the keys to emphasize them more.

Yes, I agree with the previous comments. By focusing on the keys the novice's portrait becomes stronger and more dramatic. He holds the unusual keys (great detail) as if it's a symbol of power, and of course in a way it is. A very pleasing shot, congratulations. Regards,
