Photographer’s Note

September is the month of spring blossoms and a sign that the days are getting longer and the weather is starting to become warmer. This image of the plumb tree in my parents’ garden is the third and final in a short series exploring their beauty.

The only adjustment made was a slight increase in contrast.

Hi Tony!
Today in Germany`s autumn everything is grey and now blossoms to see.But we had many fantastic and sunny days in october.
Good close up shot of these nice blossoms.Good contrasting colors and sharpness,and good composition with the diagonal of the branch.

As the weater is going sad again in Northern Europe, after a few beautiful cold sunny days, I'm going back to your springtime blossoms. I like the great diagonal of this composition, and the nice DOF you've found.
