Your whole gallery is really amazing!It shows a great deal of talent and potential. This particular one has a great composition, POV, perspective and Depth of field. The use of the "leading lines" is worth of a seminar. Of as the "cherry in the pie" you added some wonderful autumn colours. congratulations!

In an ideal world, the carpet of fallen leaves would have extended to cover the area to the left of the road as well, to complete the pleasing symmetry at work in this image.
As it is though, I like it very much; a simple and elegant image, and I like the inclusion of the figure in the far distance.

Hi Lili. A nice showing of the small road in the autumnal setting with the fallen leaves. Good perspective/tunnel effect accomplished by your framing. I think it could be more interesting if you had a bicyclist or pedestrian closer to the foreground. Nice light and good natural colors.

Very good perspective shot, where the central composition works well. The temptation might have been to use a vertical format to try and include the tree tops, but I like the width the landscape format has afforded. There's still a lot of green left in the trees but there is an attractive Autumnal carpet.

Hi Liliana,
this one is an excellent composition, classic, but with great graphism and much beauty. The depth and perspective that give to the trees and the road with this effect tunnel are wonderful, and the light and the colors make the rest, creating a splendid autumnal composition.
I specially like to see all those leaves fallen in the ground, forming a very elegant red carpet.
I like so much that I add it to my favorites list.

This is simply beautiful! So much depth in the picture with this alley leading us into the scene. The impact is even greater due to the presence of the tiny person who seems to be so far away. And of course, the contrast between the orange leaves on the ground and the green trees is just great.

Hi Liliana, I think the key to the success of this picture is excellent exposure control in these difficult light conditions, you have made all the shadows and highlights "speak". Very good composition as well, I maybe would move a bit from the center, but it is a matter of personal taste I guess.

Great POV, real good depth is created by standing in the middle of the road and having the trees making the depth.
Nice autumn tones on the sides of the road. Can almost smell the leaves..hmmm nice.
A person in the distance..
Good exposure for this shadow scene. I like the light on one of the trees on the right side, in the middle of the distance, nice bright tones. The rest also has proper green colours.
You can think of removing some of the noise present in the shot, mainly on the road.

This is a lovely image! I like the composition - the center placement of the end of trees works well here with the road covering 2/3rds of the lower border and narrowing to the center. Lots of depth in the image. The carpet of fallen leaves and their warm hue add a feeling warmth to the image. Excellent exposure, DOF, and sharpness. Well done!!

What a beautiful photo. Great POV and DOF. I don't find it spooky at all. The photo makes me want to be there on a crisp day, wrapped up walking along breathing in the air and drinking in the intensity of colour.

personal preference for me would have been to go a little more forward and cut out the fence on the left... and perhaps make the end of the path central in the photo? But that would take the height from the photo, unless you took the photo closer to the ground??...and probably quite a bit of the coloured leaves on the right would get cut out... So maybe not. :)

H Liliana. I like very much the colours and exposure here. I think the composition would be better if you made 2-3 steps to the left so that the road did not end in the centre. This would also allow you to include more of the red leaves on the right in your picture. A good image still.

Pictura ta (nu este o greseala, am spus "pictura") ma impinge inainte pe alee, curios sa vad ce urmeaza.Nu fac comentarii tehnice pentru ca doar circotasii ar avea ceva de criticat in acest caz;totusi, eu as fi ridicat putin aparatul, nu mult, ca sa apara mai putin aleea si mai mult copacii.Este doar parerea mea,asa ca nu trebuie sa te superi:)

I don't mind discovering such path that will lead you unaware places. I like the way you placed yourself in the middle of the road providing a straight forward view that links the foreground to background. Hello Liliana,

I had seen this photo once before and lost it before I could critique it. This time it came up in the "Random Order" that you have on your Intro Page. The colors of fall, the symmetry, the resolution, and the composition are all wonderful. What I especially like is the "One-Point Perspective" where parallel lines appear to converge at a single vanishing point on the horizon line. I am not surprised this photograph has been recognized in the manner it so richly deserves.

Strange, I've seen another photo with the same title on TE, equally successful, that one is curved and entering into the fog ; yet there are some similarities, although the atmosphere is very different...

There must be something in the human pysche which is naturally attracted to avenues of trees!
