Photographer’s Note
I came to this river boat grounded on the bank of river Sava in Zagreb. This is not usual situation because river Sava in Zagreb area is not deep enough for boats, so I have no idea how and why this boat, along with 3 others, was here.
River Sava is bigest river in Croatia. Sava begin in Slovenia, entering in Croatia west from Zagreb, float along Croatia/Bosnia & Hercegovina border and in Serbia near Belgrade join with Danube. Sava was unfortunately being poluted by some coal mines, and atomic plant in Slovenia and long time ago stop to being a place were people from Zagreb goes to swim. In a last two decade Zagreb did some efforts to solve that polutions, certain results are achieved but it will take a time to clean this river. (Luckily coal mines in Slovenia don't work any more, so major source of polution does'nt exist any more.

Zdravo Darko,
Neobicna, maglovita atmosfera, lijepe boje, mada ova jaka, crvena izgleda pomalo neprirodno. Zanimljivo kako neke stvari bez njihovog svakodnevnog konteksta izgledaju potpuno drugacije. Kao ovdje brod bez vode...
pozdrav,

Hi Darko,
A well composed and colourful shot of this river boat. The fog and filter really help create an eerie moood here. The proportion of foreground seems just right and the exposure level well chosen. Very well captured.

Lovely work. Probably partially cause I like the effect of this particular filter. Need to have it too I think. Nice POV in accordance to the boat. Weird place for this boat..that what makes it a unique image. Good rough sharpness on the boat, I likt that.
Also like the fainted background, due to the myst, that lonely on the left being blurred a little is a nice extra.

Hi Darko - mysterious and strange, yet beautiful and calm; the fog is great value for the atmosphere; the red choice for the filter looks OK although I'd have preferred somewhat weaker intensity. Original excellent job, congratulations! Daniel

Hello Darko,
Again you've managed to capture great atmosphere. You really have the eye for that kind of picture!!!
I'm glad to see the boat is tighed to the ground with a rope at its front - to make sure it doesn't go too far ;-)
Thanks a lot for sharing

Hallo Darko;
Great composition of this grounded boat. I always find sadness looking at grounded boat, away from their environment, and the fog around it make it even more so. The red sky is a bit too much for my liking but the rest is fantastic.

Great! .. very impressive photo and full of meaning. ... and why yeah??
If im not mistaken, the red colours were deliberated PP to improve the bright mists yeah?

Darko, if I may I'd like to make two suggestions:
- the sky has a lot of noise, try using NeatImage to remove it. It will improve this image a 100%
- the red gradient effect looks great, but if you mask the cabin and let the gradient come behind the glass, I think that it wll also improve the shot.
Just an opinion, hope is helpful.
Cheers,
Enrique

Zdravo Darko!
Svidja mi se crveno nebo.Brod izgleda kao avetinjski.Odlično je što je pozadina u magli.
Djeluje još magičnije i pomalo zastrašujuče.
Odlična!
Sretna nova godina!
Pozdrav!
