Photographer’s Note

I came to this river boat grounded on the bank of river Sava in Zagreb. This is not usual situation because river Sava in Zagreb area is not deep enough for boats, so I have no idea how and why this boat, along with 3 others, was here.
River Sava is bigest river in Croatia. Sava begin in Slovenia, entering in Croatia west from Zagreb, float along Croatia/Bosnia & Hercegovina border and in Serbia near Belgrade join with Danube. Sava was unfortunately being poluted by some coal mines, and atomic plant in Slovenia and long time ago stop to being a place were people from Zagreb goes to swim. In a last two decade Zagreb did some efforts to solve that polutions, certain results are achieved but it will take a time to clean this river. (Luckily coal mines in Slovenia don't work any more, so major source of polution does'nt exist any more.
