Photographer’s Note
In Victoria, British Columbia, a beautiful city on the sea, there is a long pier ending in a dark red light house. It is VERY windy there. At the end of the pier there was a young woman enjoying the wind whipping her hair around. She was happy for me to take this picture.

A beautiful woman, and a lovely picture. Sharp as a tack. Your split-second timing is perfect. You captured her radiant smile and the beautiful blonde hair blowing across her face. Ideal plain dark background with a bit of texture that does not detract from the face. The only quibble is, on my monitor it looks like there is a slight magenta cast in the shadows.

I see this image has has over 200 views, but very few points. This may be because it really doesn't fit the mandate for TE. It may be better suited to TrekLens.

The blowing hair works nicely. She's obviously very relaxed and comfortable being photographed, which is nice. You've captured her against a neutral background which helps to bring attention to the hair. I find the picture too contrasty: the lighting on her face & neck is too strong.

I think it is beautifully shot, very crisp and clean and with good lights.

Maybe the girl is nice and pretty, but ... the picture with this kind of description is not good. This picture could have been shot anywhere. Is the scarlet a recognizable sign of this pier? Maybe a little bit of general perspective?
