Well the rain did not stop, but that did not stop you from taking this nice shot. Excellent contrast and tonality. The guy in the back with the umbrella nicely balances the active foreground. Amazing that all five pairs of legs are sycnchronzied (I bet the sixth pair too, though we can't see it)!

A good urban image, the B&W treatment is good, the atmosphere of the street during a rain shower is captured well here.

I like the line patterns of the zebra's repeating in the shoes; the big front pole hiding the dog brings-in some interesting tension here.

Great urban scene here Alain, the large variety of tones in the image all work perfectly together. Like the way that all three men in the shot are in an identical walking stance. Well done.

tu risques gros ici alain, tu as vu qu'il tiens un pitbull en laisse et sans muselière...haha! l'ensemble est interessant mais ce reverbere vient un peu casser l'ambiance..

Hey Al, would love to have this one in my Zebras album on PBase:)A bit of a shame about the light, I think the other guy was also with a dog, and so that would have been a nice repetition of elements and would add interest. Still a good capture of life on the streets. Nice to see a new shot from you.

There is a bit of HCB in this in the twentyfirst century. A lovely daily life bit that works beautifully. Lovely tones, great Parisian moment...

J'ai loupé toutes tes dernières photos...je reviens sur celle-ci.
J'aime bien ce moment de vie, c'est osé ce genre de prise.
Une bonne photo volée, un moment très intéressant et un n/b très joliment géré.
Le poteau, là devant, comme si ca avait été ton petit coin pour te cacher, comme si tu avais imaginé que tu ne serais pas visible en étant là derrière, je trouve qu'il apporte un truc.
Bref, une prise qui me plait par ce qu'elle dégage
