Hi Marc,
Terrific Shot. I just love the sky here. Tremendous colours.
Well composed, good sea and sky proportion and nice silhouettes. Love the reflections on the water.
Well done.

One of those indeed! I like the fact that you included a foreground. It helps getting a more accurate feeling of the scene.

Hi Marc - the sunset is gorgeous, the bottom part could be a touch sharper, and a minor ccw rotation would straighten the horizon.

Hi Marc, this is spectacular! I would probably have cropped a bit off the bottom, because this really is all about the sky. Brilliant colours. Cheers, Colin.

Hello Marc
AMAZING!
It was hard to find a descriptive word that hadn't been used yet :)
Warm, rich and vivid colours....your right one of those very special sunsets you don't see every day. I never get tired of of beautiful sunsets.

Hi Marc,
This is probably the most dramatic sunset image I've ever seen, and it goes directly to my favorites. Impressive colors, but even more impressive are the water and sky textures. If nitpicking, the landline is a bit slanted, but then who cares? This is breathtaking, kudos to you for capturing it and sharing it with us.
Cheers,
Catalin

I'm speechless. A burning sunset indeed. The reflection on the water intensified this scene.

Hi Marc,
I don't usually comment on sunsets, but have to make an exception here because of the very impressive overall fiery effect. It brings to mind Turner's Fighting Temeraire (a painting which shows my home town of Gravesend in the background by the way).
The sea is a bit blurred and I wonder if a lower f-stop and hence a faster exposure would have helped. Also, is the horizon titled to the right a little?

A fabulous fiery sky, Marc. The only thing that spoils this is it is tilted a little to the right. I would have also preferred to see this in a conventional 6x4 format, with a little cropped off the bottom, as that would have given you a classic 1/3rd, 2/3rds framing. But it is still a very impressive image even as you have composed it. Cheers . . . David

Hello Marc
Fantastic shot. The blurred water makes your photo looks like a painting. I drove through Little Current on my way to Manitoulin Island. I was happy to see that swivel bridge ath the city entrance when coming from Espanola. Nice place to go back...and I will.

Hi Marc,
Beutiful colours and a potential excellent scene.
I would have included more sky in my composition. Moreover I would have tried to get the picture sharper (smaller aperture, tripod?),

Really gorgeous colors, one of these incredible beauties of nature again...
I like your compo, with the movement of the water and the trees border.

Marc: there are some amazing 'golden-hour' land- and seascapes in your gallery - this no less spectacular that most of the others. It's the one that seems to draw the attention of viewers as well. I'd imagine your cranked up the levels, but think it's probably fairly consistent with the reality. I'd adjust the straightness of your horizon though. regards, c
