Photographer’s Note
Ethiopia is full of hopeful runners, but cyclists are rare to see. We did however spot some on a training tour on a Sunday morning in Mekele.
The picture is taken from the balcony of a hotel. Color photo desaturated.

Very nice use of space here, Nana. Well done!
I also like the long shades the cyclist cast. I like the silver cast look the morning sun gives to the concrete.

I love this nana. Looks like they moved into formation for you :). What a great POV. I love the long shadows.

I really like the long shadows here Nana, they really make the picture.
I'm a bit undecided about the large area of empty space on the right of the frame. Perhaps shooting the cyclists in portrait format and going in a bit closer might have worked better.
I'm not sure though, I kind of like the empty space, and how it divides the frame into two halves. Sometimes it's good to break the so called rules of composition, and on second thoughts I think it's worked well for you here.
Good work.
Cheers,
Ben

Hello Nana
Exccellent point of view,
very nicely framed. I like the way the runners shadows create a pattern.
Very nicely done.
Regards
Daniel
PS did you take this from the balcony of a hotel on the city's main roundabout?

Hello Nana,
This is one among the very interesting photos in your gallery and there are a lot. It makes me think of some of Cartier Bresson's famous pictures.
Two little weak points I would mention are the empty space on the right and the cyclist's incomplete shadow at the bottom but I know too well it's much easier to criticize than shoot it in the instant.
Here's a workshop with a variation.
All the same your picture is very good.

Olá Nana, quite an interesting gallery that you have. This is a great shot from an amazing POV (I wonder where you were...). Interesting that you say it's a color image, because I see it as a b&w work. I love the way they all seem to be attracted to the light (kind of poetic) as if it was a trap. It's a pitty that you didn't get the whole shadow at the bottom, but I'm with you about the space at right- the sense of emptyness is stronger and it also makes the composition off center, which I like. Very well done!

C'est absolument magnifique. Le choix du noir et blanc est très judicieux et la texture du sol très belle. Beau coup d'oeil et excellente réalisation.

Olá Nana,
I like more this desaturated photo than your last one wich is very artificial ;)
