Photographer’s Note

Kabak Bay (Kabak Koyu)

This relatively untouched and calm beach seemed "just below" when I took the shot. But the hill was very steep, to finally reach the water, we had to take many careful steps for about an hour. But the water was just as rewarding as we had imagined! The heavy rains of just three days ago had caused many pine leaves and woods to flow into the sea but otherwise the water was crystal clear and it was just like a medicine to our really really tired bodies.

There are a few guesthouses around consisting of bungalows that you can spend the night, offering good food and hot water.

As the guidebook says: No metter how tired you are, you are instantly filled with life in Kabak Koyu. A wonderful place. Paradise.
