Photographer’s Note

Photo taken the very same day I took the one I post some days ago with the cyclist. This is a look at the fisherman that we could see on the right side of the photo. He looked so relaxed and calm looking at the sea while he was waiting some fish to come that I couldn't resist taking a photo of him.

Photo taken at the new sidewalk built in Leça da Palmeira during last year allowing persons to go next to seaside for a walk, or riding their bikes or just seat at one the benchs enjoying the open view to the sea.

j'aime bien le mouvement dans cette photo qui est à la fois donné par la texture de la mer et par la lumière sur les rochers du premier plan. On dirait une photo qui va s'animer sous nos yeux. J'aime beaucoup

well, oh geez..this puts the lakeside rocky shore I just posted to shame...wow..this is soooo very nice...I love the contrasts on the rocks and the turmoil in the surf..the fisherman..well he can be there..but I'm hardly noticing him...beautiful photo...thanks very much..

Nice work, I love this scene, this man fishing, maybe indeed meditating ;) between rough rocks. It's good to have him not to big in the scene, nice impression of how big things are.
I like the sharpness in the front. DOF works fine, I also like that the background contains a little noise, it works quite fine here.

Belíssimo enquadramento, cores aprazíveis e muito bem contrastadas e saturadas.
A luminosidade está impecável e o nível de detalhe é simplesmente fabuloso!

Foi tirada em Leça da Palmeira mas mais parece no Cabo das Tormentas. A parte do mar dá a ideia daqueles filmes cheios de emoção e em que a caravela está prestes a naufragar nas rochas costeiras. Está fantástico o contraste entre essa zona e as rochas do primeiro plano. O pescador a olhar para a cana, tem uma posição de resignado e de esperança ao mesmo tempo.

Bom dia Paulo, mais uma excelente captura no passeio marítimo de Leça da Palmeira. Gosto muito da pose de expectativa a olhar lá para cima. Os pescadores ao longo da marginal sempre me atrairam e já há algum tempo que não os fotografo ou publico alguma coisa. O Inverno costuma ser muito bom para isso. Meditação e pesca são uma excelente combinação. Penso que a pesca é muitas vezes uma desculpa deles para irem meditar sobre a vida, o que é uma coisa que eu admiro tal são as más condições climatéricas que eles aturam!
O enquadramento da 'paisagem' também está muito bonito e preciso de aprender uns truques de pp contigo...

bien vista esta escena para captarla con tu cámara. La espontaneidad del pescador mirando su caña donde parece que ha picado algún pez, junto al entorno realmente impresionante de rocas y el mar mostrando su fuerza, componen una gran foto.
Los colores y los tonos que has conseguido en la foto son fantásticos.
Es muy buena, la añado a mis favoritas.

Bad weather on the ocean shore, this is the place to be! Agitated ocean surface gives Your image a lots of movement, beautiful stones textures on the foreground. And i am afraid that even if this gentlemen catches some fish he will probably hardly notice it :-),he looks very absorbed by his surrounding.

A first sight a very dark view, but when opening the picture, the colors arrvie, even though the sea is really dark, rather frightening. Beautifull rocks with good sharpness and amusing view of the fishing rods.
