Photographer’s Note

As there was not much snow on the Slovakian side we decided to cross the border and have some ski fun in Poland.
In Zakopane region you may easily find this sort of "oscypek" cheese to bo beought. But beware - there are two sorts - the original one from sheeps, and the other one, equally good in my opinion, made from cows' milk.
As the lady explained to us - when sheeps are about to have babies (this time of the year) the chees is made from that "substitute animal" :-))

Bardzo fajna scenka, kobieta chętnie przypozowała. Przeszkadza trochę ten przycięty typ z prawej, ale w sumie to taka reporterka i robione T7, lustrem byś zapewne pobawił się z GO.
Podoba się złapany moment i historia.

Czesc, Jurek.
Scenka fajna.
Mnie troche "moment" nie do konca pasuje, bo pani ma lekko przymruzone oczy (chyba, ze taka juz z natury), no ale zdjecia reporterskie lubie i cenie, no a juz nie wspomne o oscypkach ;)).

Widze, ze ty tez masz kieszonkowy aparat zawsze z soba ;)

Fajna kobitka. Podoba mi siê , ¿e fotografujesz ludzi. To du¿o trudniejsze ni¿ ró¿ne domki itp. A tobie siê udaje! Asortyment bardzo ciekawy.

Oj tak, tak Jurku.. moze i wczorajsze wyspy mgielne, bajkowe i fanatsmagoryczne, ale ta, powiedzmy sobie szczerze, karykaturalna rzeczywistosc, to "caly Ty".. wiec witaj z powrotem w "swojej parze butow" i we wlasnym kraju gdzie niespodziewanie uciekasz z zagranicznych wakacji.. to stara prawda, ze na wakacje warto jechac ale odpoczac mozna tylko w domu :-)

Na drugi raz tylko wez dla Gustawa adres Pani.. jakos ujal mnie pod serce swoim spontanicznym zachwytem :-)

I really hope that this smile can be kept on her face during the year that is starting in some hours as I hope you keep on your 'journey' showing the purity and soul of this persons in such a nice way.

Oh nooooooo! How can I bear that view when it is supper time? And that I have to prepare the meal? And that I don't have cheese or bread or pastry? Do I have to go to that little Polish store where they sell Polish food not far from my home? But I think it is closed by now. Grrrrr! ;)
I love the mix of cold and warm feeling I get from this photo. The coldness of the air, the snow, the coat, the fur (or is it?) and the warmth of the food, but mostly of her smile!
Now, I'm writing and writing.... I have to eat! ;)
Jerzy, I want to wish you a nice and pleasing passage from 2006 to 2007. And yes, an amazingly good 2007!

Brrr! It feels cold! I guess I'll grab that coat I left in Lisbon... I am interested in these golden pots in the foreground. Are they sweets? I love cheese but right now I wouldn't mind snapping something sweet. Bread looks good too! Just like your hostess and picture. :)

I remember your kindness in looking for sheeps oscypek for me with my little problem....this is a nice 'working portrait' possibly for me one I'd be tempted to show in B&W - you can tell again what a great relationship you have with the people you photograph!!

Very nice environmental portrait, J - composed "jusr so". Love all the space yu give to the bread in the bottom of the frame.
