Dark clouds over Funen Photo

Photographer’s Note

There are grey cloudy days without sun ...
There are sunny days with bright blue sky ...
And then there are days like this ...
Not much to say – I simply had to take some photos – which I like to share – it was the same clouds I got as background for the magnolia some minutes later.

One more here - just to give an alternative view.

Jeppe, the depth and the three-dimensional effect is stunning. And you suceed in making Funen look like the American Midwest. That is a very big field in the front, and a house as lonely as that is rare in Denmark. The colours are magnificent and I take everything back from yesterday about having three elements in the frame. With colours like these, I don't need anything except the colours.

I think that this version is better than the other one, Jeppe, altough the other one is also very special. THe clouds are so heavy and very impressive - you did a great contrast/brightnrss PS work. Excellent shot, Jep.

Cet éclairage me rappelle le début de l'éclipse du soleil en 1999.
La composition est parfaite avec ce ciel dramatique.

This lighting points remember me the beginning of the eclipse of the sun in 1999. The composition is perfect with this dramatic sky.

Again both versions are great, and again I think I would have made the same decision as to which to post as the "major" one. A fine, almost threatening setting with the big big clouds above, and the field with the long dark shadows. All is drawing the view towards the house(s). I agree with Per that this looks reminiscent of what one would be able to experience in the Midwest of the US. Very good work, Jeppe.

Wow! Very dark and very moody, Jeppe! :-) I like the low clouds and the way they look like cotton in the sky. That special light on the houses in distance is just wonderful. Very well done!

Trés grosse menace dans le ciel avec la texture nuageuse le cliché prend une autre allure avec un rendu des plus efficace Le dégarde et la palette de couleurs sombres est trés agreable a regarder.
