Photographer’s Note

when i cant sleep i go to walmart (theyr open 24/7) and photograph vegitables untill the manger decides to ask me to leave, then i just go to another walmart! you should try it, its liberating :)

'walmart hopping' is a very common phenomenan in the US of A, its also where insomniacs meet!

note on produce of michigan; most of the fruits and vegitables are exported from south america, by sea. they are laid in larg containers with ise to keep them from spoiling, this is the info i got from one of the workers there.

I'll wait till Walmart comes to India and then decide what to do! In the meantime this shot is enough to keep sleep away! The colours are well captured with perfectly controlled lights. You've got a great framing and POV. Wish the few peppers didn't have those ugly pock-marks. Atleast I know where not to shop for peppers!

Hmm fine combination. Also good in my food..hehe. Nice that you've put a red one between all the green ones in your composition. Fine colours, natural too. Good sharpness.
Maybe the red paprika placed in one of the corners would result in a more exciting shot though. Well done.

Wonderful compo, incredible luminosity and colors. The image looks like having 3D and the red pepper seems to be floating on the air.
Very nice indeed, congratulations.
It's a pitty that the red one is a bit out of focus.
Maybe cloning the that spot on the top left corner and the other one with strange brilliance on the right wasn't a bad idea.
