Photographer’s Note

An old fisherman boat is fixed in Suriname River’s muddy bed. Fishermen have difficult life in Suriname too as every where all over world. This one is capable for more then 5 persons and at least 4 metric tons of ice storage capacity but I don’t exactly why it’s abandoned.

It was two hours earlier before sunset time while Suriname River in low tide.

This is original and untouched (except resize, sharpness) frame.

Merhaba, my friend Ertugrul,
A splendid light before the late afternoon, and a sky with some clouds really nice, that gets confused with the bed and the water of the river in the low tide.
The colors are agreeable and soft, and such a strong light creates a few shades with a lot of graphical force and much contrasts.
Curious history of this boat in your note.

A well composed shot of this old boat, well ensconced in the mud of the river. I like the angled view of the hull and the fine lighting in the foreground. This was a difficult scene to capture and you obtained a fine result. Its a keeper...later.

Merhaba Ertu?rul, j'aime well your framing with the shades luminous and shaving that distils the stakes of moorings, a photograph d'une beautiful fluidity of at the time ideal for the catch of sight and very pleasant to look at, I do not know if s`étais the case, but through l`image I feel calm and a silence surrounding this place, it should not y have much tourist, and this lagoon profits from a very beautiful illumination, arkadasça selamlar ..........................

Hello Ertugrul.
I like the natural tones here. There is a nice golden glow to the shot. This is a nioce perspective as the line of the boat gives a good angle into the shot. I see many abandoned ships around my home and I always wonder how this happens. Seems as though there is some construction on the far pier.

Good composition and an excellent illumination, I like the brightness of the water and its interesting textures, all the elements of the scene perfectly are placed with the exception of the small boat that shows by the right, but that is a small detail. Good work and thanks to share.

I imagine you were standing on a jetty to take this, rather than on that rather sticky looking and treacherous mud, hence the elevated viewpoint.
I do think this would have been better if you had taken it from a lower viewpoint though, and if you didn't want to get down into the mud (understandable), then lying or crouching down on the jetty would have worked.
Other than that the composition works well, and I like the light in the lower half of the image. The over-exposure in the sky is a little unfortunate though, and using an ND grad filter would have helped you out in this regard.

C'est une photo qui joue très bien avec la lumière du matin et les reflets. L'embarcation échouée fait un beau graphisme et la jetée de pêcheurs au loin lui oppose un graphisme presque aérien.
