Photographer’s Note

Comme une mouette,
je reve de voler sur la mer.
Je regarde l'écume des bateaux qui tranchent le bleu de l'eau comme des lames aiguisées.
Je me laisse porter par le vent.
Tout me parait petit a moi qui ne suis rien.
Je prends de l'altitude et je relativise les choses.

Image depuis les cabines qui relient l'ile de Sentosa.

Like a gull,
I dream to fly on the sea.
I look at the scum of the boats which slice the blue of water like sharpened blades.
I let myself carry by the wind.
All appears small to me, me which am nothing.
I gain altitude and I relativize the things.

Image since the cabins which connect the island of Sentosa.

Lots of white water and a blue barge. Very nice picture taken from above. The white waves create attractive distortions and emphasize the color of the boat more. Good overall colors and sharpness and interesting subject :-)

Looks like you got a cabin with new glasses on it! My cabins were awful when I went to Sentosa Island. I have posted a picture taken from one of those cabins, on WS1 to the photo called “1942-British Surrender”. Did you like Sentosa Island?
You have a nice picture with two great parallel diagonals and superb colours. Well done.

N'essaye pas car je n'ai moi même pas encore réussis non plus..:)
Quoi qu'avec l'aide des cabines qui relient l'ile, cela pourrait aller en effet.

This aerial view is stunning, as one does have the impression of being aloft as a bird gazing down. I like the clarity of detail and the foaming water. The rich blue tones of the boat provide perfect contrast. A most effective capture.

Tu as u un excellent POV pour capturer ce petit bateau. Sans le savoir on a l'idee d'apartir d'ou tu a fait cette prise. Les dessin fait par les mouvements des 2 bateaux servent a guider les yeux. Bien compose et cadre.

those cabins are quite high and it looks like you got some fine weather for travelling on them. this is a great pov with nice detail. while the shot itself is not that interesting, the positioning of the boat and the waves' lines make a solid composition. nice..

Jolie image avec ses diagonales sub-parallèles. Le point de vue t'a donné l'occasion d'une composition vraiment intéressante, avec cette embarcation qui s'enfuit par le bas de l'image. C'est original et agréable à regarder.

Nice simple composition with this boat flying low thru the waves in the sea. I like a lot the diagonal lines and positioning of the boat and the dark tones of the photo.
I can believe that the day was not so bright that day.

Superbe détails de ce bateau. Les couleurs ressortent superbien contre la mer. Le fait qu'il y ait deux trainées donnent un effet plus intéressant qu'il n'y avait qu'une. Ta note est très sympa. J'aurai juste gommé le petit objet foncé qui se trouve dans la mer au premier plan.
