Hello Tina ... sometimes you just need a little pleasure here and there ... so let us have him his smoke, why not. Good you gave up. I am still trying. I especially need it at work sometimes, but I don't need it otherwise but maybe after a good meal. So it goes ... have a great Sunday, Barbara.

Hi Tina,
Although i have a break on TE, so now and then i take a peak what my favorite members are uploading. Seeing this one i had to leave a comment. This portrait is simply beautiful. No posing, but real life in natural light. And the way you captured this light is stunning. His facial expression with the wrinkels are great exposed, but seeing it is taken with the 85m/m beauty it is no wonder you get these perfect portraits with perfect dof.
A perfect shot...wonderful..!!!

Lovely candid capture of this relaxing man. The lighting is very good and the rough textures of his face and cap shows what kind of job he does and let us guess his background...good documentary :)

First of all good for you for quiting smoking.
As for the portrait of the smoking man...well done. I like the
tight frame on the man, your shallow DOF is perfect and the image tells a story.
