Saffron Walden is located in NW Essex some 50 miles from London, but in a largely unspoilt rural area. This very attractive town is one of the finest preserved examples of a medieval market town and is quintessentially English. Within its outstanding Conservation Area you can find examples of every style of architecture from the 12th to the 21st century.

Hi Peter,
Long time no see, welcome back !
That's too funny lately I commented an Alghero picture from Mark (agrafes) and was wondering about another guy having posted a similar view, now I saw your pseudo reappear and knew at once it was you !
That's a nice persepctive of houses with details such as the street lamp, I like as well the succession of colors even though in winter the light potential is less and you have much shade.

Very nice capture of this street. I find the composition and POV nice and I enjoy the many colours of the facades. Also the light is pleasing. Nicely done!

Lovely colourful picture of this attractive street in Saffron Walden.
I like the POV you have chosen for this picture. Excellent use of the perspective.
The shadow parts make the image extra vivid.

Yes, good to see you back at last. I love the colours and the shadows in this one. Terrific sense of perspective - one wonders how much further down the street these colourful houses continue. Must have taken a while to position yourself for best effect here. Anyway, it has a delightful sharpness and clarity with minimal distortion. Great shot.
