Photographer’s Note
.....AND THE WORLD WILL SMILE TO YOU.
In Indonesia it's easy to meet people with a big smile - just like this woman.

A big smile for this big smile!
There's still pure people out there, love it!
The sharpeness seems a little soft, specially in the eyes ... why did you choosed 2.8 with such speed?
I own the 100mm and you can get wonderfull bockeh's even at higher apertures

Tina: this is, compositionally, and thematically a superior portrait. I think the image speaks for itself. You visited alot of the archipelago. Impressed. regards, c

great smile, nice POV and DOF.
Maybe a fill in flash would have made her face more clear.
Seeing all ur wonderfull portraits I wish now that I had used my 85 mm more. I brought it with me but was hardly used.

Hi Tina,
Yes, this is something that struck me when I went to Indonesia a few years ago: everyone is smiling and willing to smile for the photographer... not something that you find in all countries. I like this portrait with the tilt and an excellent bokeh in the background.
Have a nice Sunday.
Brigitte
