Hi amin,
this is my kind of picture, I love scraped walls and abandoned moods.

Hello Amin,
This sort of color and texture is a very appealing aspect of buildings in the Mediterranean Basin — Sicily, Cyprus, etc. Wonderful shot. Although you might have to wait a long time, an overcast day might be a good time to take a photo of the same place, eliminating dark, deep shadows. The color plalette certainly would be even richer. In any event, good eye, excellent composition, exquisite exposure.
A subtle aspect found in the photo is the metal grillwork above the door. Those curves in the grill describe "logarithmic spiral," first mathematically explained by one of the Swiss family of mathematicians, Johannes Benouilli. It is the spiral that nature prefers, and it is embodied in the chambered nautilus, horns of a ram, in hurricanes, as well as in spiral galaxies. Among less attractive spirals, ones that nature is not particularly fond of is the Archimedean spiral (e.g. toilet paper). Johannes Bernoulli was so proud of his mathematical discovery that he gave explicit orders to have the spiral carved on his tomb. When he died, however, Jacques his mathematician-brother who was never very fond of Johannes, had the Archimedean spiral carved on Jacque's tombstone.
Warm regards, and thanks for this lovely shot,
Bulent
PS If you get my book, write to me at my university email address, batalay@umw.edu, and I will send you a signed bookmark that was produced for the Turkish edition of the book. It's a poor man's form of a signed book.
Warm regards,
