Photographer’s Note
Hello folks.
This photo shows the outer walls of the Colosseum in Rome. The Colosseum was built between 72 - 80 A.D. Some walls got destroyed during a earthquake because the reinforcing iron bars had been removed (easy way to get iron in order to make weapons). Walls has also disappeared because of 'stone-robbers'. In my photo I first cropped out the people but then I thought that they added a lot, you can easily get a hint of the size of the Colosseum. And of course they show how much the tourism means. It must really be a huge economic industry here. And Rome is full of these attractions!
In the background there are some beautiful buildings some of them with a roof apartment having almost a garden up there!
