It gets a bit spoky, with the dark hanging clouds, its like someting unplessure soon is coming to surprise you, soon, very soon.
Its a quite simple image but with a peculiar expresson.

I agree, its not the snow covered landscape but the dark clouds which really makes this picture work. Excellent variation of colours.
